Dr. Sabine Dievenkorn is external Professor at the Humboldt-University Berlin in Germany and at the Academia de Teología Femenina in Santiago de Chile. She is an ordained Reverend of the Evangelisch-Lutherische Kirche in Deutschland and the representative of the European Society for Women in Theological Research in Israel and Palestine. She holds her doctoral degree in Theology from The Universität Hamburg. As an author and editor she published books at the intersection of theology, education and translation. She holds an M.A. in mathematics and worked as a school teacher on a little island in northern Germany before she decided to educate her children herself at home and together with other families. As a mother of two, now teenagers, she became one of the few German home educating parents. She is a co-founder of one of the first home and family based educational projects for children in Southern Chile, "KÜME MONGEN" at the intersection of learning and teaching. Her theoretical reflections and personal experiences will be published in a forthcoming book about free living, learning, and teaching.
