Jim’s U.S. Army active duty service included years as commander of an artillery battery and as the operations officer for a deployment station during Desert Storm, and he brings his passion for systems, processes, and teamwork to his collaboration with organizational leaders. He earned his MBA and is certified as a One-Page Business Plan consultant, as well as a Certified Non-profit Executive (CNE) and Certified Non-profit Consultant (CNC) with the National Association of Non-Profits and Executives (NANOE).
Jim and his wife Vicki have been involved in the homeschool community since they began homeschooling their own children and many of their almost-fifty foster children in the 1980s. As father of eight, grandfather of twenty-three, and great-granddad to six (so far), Jim has a passion for promoting and protecting parental rights and for serving homeschool leadership.
