Mr. Hiebert was elected four times and served as a Member of Parliament in Canada for eleven years before choosing to return to the private sector. During his time in office he was appointed by Prime Minister Harper as Parliamentary Secretary for Defence and later Parliamentary Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs. He also served on the Natural Resources, Finance and International Trade Standing Committees and as Canadian Chairman and Representative on the 53-nation Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. He has held leadership roles in many other international associations and had speaking engagements at the European Parliament and the United Nations. He is currently involved in several technology and real estate development companies and has served as a director on a variety of private and public organizations, including HSLDA Canada.
