Lyalikova Sofia has been researching family education since 2013, and is one of the organizers of the first large-scale sociological study of homeschooling in Russia "Family and homeschooling as a model of education for the future". The results of this study were presented at GHEC-2018 in Moscow. Sophia has a master's degree in sociology and is working on her PhD dissertation. Sophia - Deputy Head of the Department of Family Sociology and Demography, Faculty of Sociology, Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is also the scientific secretary of the conference "Social dynamics of the population and sustainable development"; winner of the XII All-Russian Competition named after N. Kareev (2016); laureate of the "Academus" competition (2017); winner in the nomination for the best work of a young researcher at the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual problems of human development in modern society" (2019). Co-author of 7 collective monographs and several articles on the peculiarities of the familistic lifestyle and family education.
Sofia is a teacher, sociologist-practitioner who has conducted over 100 sociological and marketing research, which results are actively shared with the scientific community at various conferences, workshops and webinars. Sofia organizes a series of research workshops, in which students participate in research activities, paying special attention to the study of various family phenomena and the peculiarities of family education in Russia and the world.
