Most homeschool organizations are staffed and managed by a team, usually a team of volunteers. Creating and sustaining unity is critical to organizational survival and success. However, conflict often happens as a result of rapid change and competing visions for an organization. Developing teamwork and successfully navigating conflict and change will make an organization stronger but ignoring change or suppressing conflict will usually lead to the collapse of the organization. In this workshop and roundtable, homeschool leaders will discuss how to address change and conflict in a homeschooling organization that is often managed by volunteers.
