About this session

Homeschoolers in Africa increasingly find themselves working in the opposite direction of the governments in their countries. They are advocating for more freedom for families to educate their children according to their own world views and cultures, striving for an excellent education for each individual child. As opposed to this strong, passionate movement many governments seem to be content to force education into a straitjacket of equality, with no regard for the quality of the outcome. How do we as homeschoolers engage with politicians in these circumstances?

Shirley Erwee
